Through the activities of the Community Outreach Programme, our students develop a sense of compassion and empathy for the marginalised and the underprivileged.
They develop an attitude of social responsibility and learn the skill of interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds. It encourages them to explore and learn about the society they live in. Some of the initiatives taken under this programme are as follows:
- Regular visits to institutions like The National Association for Blind and SOS Children’s Villages of India
- Donating and channelizing materials like stationery, notebooks, old books, uniforms, school bags to the village children through NGOs such as Goonj and Palna
- Fund raising for natural calamities
- Participation in national initiatives like Swacch Bharat Abhiyan
