‘To be inspired is great, to inspire is incredible.’
Every year, a team of ten students of class XI led by Prof S.K.Palhan goes to Mehalchauri village in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand for the Rural Development Programme.
The trip is especially arranged to sensitise the students about the various socio-economic concerns of people living in a remote village, ways to reach out to them and bring joy in their lives.
Our students engage in various activities with the children of this village like performing the Jodo Gyan games, conducting science experiments, sharing information on the latest software technology and demonstrating it and presenting cultural performances. The students always come back with meaningful life lessons and a sense of fulfillment.
